Feed your joy

Sometimes you need to take a step back and feed your joy. When you do, you’ll find that it creates an undercurrent that makes the work day flow more nicely.

This poem is a summary of a joyful work day that resulted from my feeding my love life and my joy.

I hope it adds joy to your work day as well.

A bliss-bubble Monday

Today is a bliss-bubble kind of a day
Where my tasks and my duties morph into play
Where each step I take turns into a dance
And the words that I speak become joyful chants.

Today my exuberance won’t fit in a box
It can’t be constrained by my schedules and clocks
I meet my objectives as part of a game
And everything’s changed though it’s really the same

Today is a day where I break into song
And I feel like I fly as my day floats along
I look down from new heights and rejoice in the view
Both splendid and real    Thanks and glory to you
