 As adults they have more resources than they did when they were five. Sure, they never learned to handle those behaviors with their parents, and it’s a bit embarrassing to be five years old with your sweetheart when you’re in your late twenties. But when an adult walks through a fire they were not equipped to handle as a child, they come out stronger for it.

- We do so often get &quot;stuck&quot; in our childhood and stay there until in our adult lives we encounter a person who uncorks the old bottled messages from our past.  

The challenge is discerning how to handle these corks-pops, and really that is rather what Speaking Strong is all about.  

I do truly value this particular post.  It takes a real &quot;grown-up&quot; to seek the child within and to work with him / her.

I wish Dillon and Amy all the best and if their awareness has been prompted, then they will likely have it.</description>
